Providence Heart Rhythm

Cardiac electrophysiology is a subspecialty of cardiology focusing on heart rhythm abnormalities. Our team of electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses and technicians work closely with our cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to provide complete care for patients with heart rhythm conditions.

Our providers specialize in treating conditions such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, bradycardia, long QT syndrome, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac arrest. These conditions may be treated with medications or a minimally invasive procedure. We perform over 1,400 procedures, annually, including ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator procedures at our three state-of-the-art electrophysiology laboratories. Genetic testing for inherited conditions is also available.

We offer the full spectrum of arrhythmia care in our outpatient clinics, device (pacemaker and defibrillator) clinics, remote monitoring services and inpatient hospital services. Our providers get to know each patient individually and arrive at a treatment plan to address their specific needs, with an emphasis on clear communication, compassion and accessibility to our services.

Our team invites you to view the National Heart Rhythm Society’s Patient Education Center at Upbeat.org.

If you have any questions, please contact our office. We are always happy to assist you and will always be here for you.
