Neonatal long-term EEG monitoring with video

Also known as: Neonatal EEG, NICU EEG
A diagnostic test called an electroencephalogram, or EEG, can help determine if a patient is having seizures. An EEG is a test that records brainwaves, and can show where in the brain a seizure may be coming from. Neonatal long-term EEG monitoring is done with portable EEG equipment in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), with video.  Neonatal long-term EEG monitoring is for neonatal patients who need to have continuous EEG monitoring for an undefined period of time.
