Charis Yoder, RN

We are pleased to announce new directors of quality and medical staff services:

Charis Yoder, RN, will lead quality and medical staff services at Providence Newberg Medical Center and Providence Seaside Hospital. Charis has been a nurse with Providence for more than 30 years with leadership experience in surgical services and quality and medical staff services at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center

Currently, she’s a project manager for the Oregon Region Quality Department, providing support for multiple projects across the region. For the past few months Charis has served as the interim director for both hospitals and we are happy she will continue to serve both communities.

Jessica Bailey-Oetker, BSN, RN, steps in at Providence Milwaukie Hospital and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. Jessica has been with Providence for more than 10 years and brings with her a wealth of experience in quality improvement. She came to Oregon from Providence Alaska and has been a clinical project manager with the Regional Quality and Medical Staff Services division in Oregon for the past two years.

Dian J. Farber, RN, MSN/MHA, CPHQ

Dian J. Farber, RN, MSN/MHA, CPHQ, now leads quality and medical staff services at Providence Medford Medical Center. Dian comes to Providence from McKay-Dee Hospital Center and Park City/Heber Valley medical centers, which are part of Intermountain Health System.

Please join me in thanking Michelle Haun-Hood, who has done a tremendous job as the interim director in Medford since December. She has been of great support to the team there in addition to her regional responsibilities with the utilization management and clinical documentation programs.
