Feb. 19, 2014

Each February brings a changing of the guard in our Providence hospitals, when the two-year terms for president and president-elect of the professional staff transition.

These elected positions are critically important to our professional obligation to self-govern and manage a host of responsibilities that include overseeing quality and patient safety, peer review, physician discipline and hospital policies.

These leaders are your colleagues and friends. Many have served as department chairs and served on many committees and work groups before taking these responsibilities. Join me in welcoming them, and thank our exiting leaders for their service.

Meet the leaders. ›
