Long-term EEG monitoring

Also known as: Long-term electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring with and without video
A diagnostic test called an electroencephalogram, or EEG, can help determine if a patient is having seizures. An EEG is a test that records brainwaves, and can show where in the brain a seizure may be coming from. Long-term EEG monitoring is done with portable EEG equipment, with or without video.  Long-term EEG monitoring is for patients who need to have continuous EEG monitoring for an undefined period of time.
