For non-urgent medical advice, call your primary care provider’s clinic and if it is after hours, you will be connected to a local Providence registered nurse.
How to use Providence RN
You can call day or night, seven days a week. Providence RN Medical Advice Line is designed to give you an immediate and convenient response to your medical concerns.
If needed, Providence RN nurses can schedule an appointment for you to see your doctor the next day, bring in a consulting physician to help with your problem during the call, and can access information in your medical record to provide the best possible advice.
Please note: To ensure quality control, all calls are recorded. All calls are confidential, however, if it is necessary to notify a doctor the nurse will do so. Providence RN Medical Advice Line does not conduct referrals. If you need to select a physician, call 503-582-2185 to speak to a customer service representative who will help you find a primary care provider and schedule a new patient appointment.
