Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)

Also known as: EBUS

Endobronchial ultrasound is a less invasive alternative to mediastinoscopy for diagnosing and staging thoracic malignancies like lung cancer. Endobronchial ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy uses a long needle inserted through the chest wall to remove a sample of lung tissue.

Providence Thoracic Oncology Program serves physicians and their patients who have cancers of the chest, including lung cancer.
