Biologic monitoring

Also known as: Blood testing for hazardous workplace exposures

Biologic monitoring is a periodic testing of employees who are or may be exposed to potentially hazardous materials or other risks in the workplace. These tests can detect exposure to potentially hazardous materials, such as benzene, lead, cadmium, heavy metals and asbestos.

Providence Occupational Health provides blood draws and testing for employees to monitor hazardous exposures in the workplace.
