Providence St. Vincent recognized for outstanding spine and neurosurgical care

November 11, 2014
For the second year in a row, Becker's Hospital Review has named Providence St. Vincent Medical Center as one of 100 hospitals with great neurosurgery and spine programs.

"These hospitals and systems offer remarkable spine and neurosurgical care," says the publication. The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals on the list based on clinical accolades, quality care and other spine and neurosurgical proficiencies.

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center’s listing cites its high-performing designation for neurological care and neurosurgery services by U.S. News & World Report’s 2014-2015 rankings. Providence Brain and Spine Institute, renowned for its use of world-class technologies in treatments and surgical procedures, recently installed the most advanced intraoperative MRI suite on the West Coast. Additionally, the institute expanded its acute stroke services to 19 hospitals in Oregon and Washington through a telestroke network.
