On Halloween, breast cancer patient Melissa Roy-Hart, aka Wonder Woman, allowed reporters to follow her to her final breast cancer treatment at Providence Cancer Center Oncology and Hematology Care Clinic – Southeast.

From the tip of her magic tiara to the soles of her classic red-and-white boots, Melissa was very much feeling the part of Wonder Woman after more than a year of treatment that included surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, Tamoxifen and Herceptin. She used the opportunity to thank the super heroes of the past: cancer patients who participated in clinical trials, allowing her access to the best drugs to fight her cancer.

See Melissa’s story in these news reports from local television stations and in tweets from @ProvHealth.
