Yvonne Kirk has been named the new chief nursing and operations officer at Providence Newberg Medical Center. In her role, she will oversee all clinical services and operations.
Kirk has more than 26 years experience in health care, and she comes to us from St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Mont., where she was vice president of patient care and chief nursing officer. Before that role, she served as vice president of nursing services at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Ore.
“We’re very fortunate to have someone with Yvonne’s qualifications and experience join us,” says Lori Van Zanten, chief executive for Providence Newberg. “I know her leadership will help us advance all aspects of our ministry.”
Kirk earned a doctorate and a master’s degree in health care administration from Madison University. She will begin April 8.
