Breast cancer risks

One in eight women will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. This year alone, 227,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and 40,000 will die. While those numbers are numbing, another statistic is inspiring – today, in our nation, 3 million women are breast cancer survivors. Women are surviving thanks to early detection, successful treatments and ongoing research trials.
