President's Club members listen to medical updates

April 30, 2012
The future of telemedicine. New discoveries in the battle against cancer. The latest in heart valve replacement and hip repair. Members of Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation President's Club and their guests were treated to excellent presentations about these and other topics at the Physician Forum 2012 on April 5 at the Portland Golf Club.

During the event, which is a benefit of membership at the gift levels of $2,500 and above, key physician leaders from four Providence centers of excellence shared the most up-to-date advances in research and patient care.

Speakers were John Zurasky, M.D., of Providence Brain and Spine Institute; Alison Conlin, M.D., Providence Cancer Center; Todd Caulfield, M.D., Providence Heart and Vascular Institute; and Paul Duwelius, M.D., Providence Orthopedic Institute. They answered questions from the audience and stayed afterward to visit with attendees. Byron Grant, former president of the foundation's Council of Trustees, opened the program by offering thanks for the outstanding support provided by the guests. Ron Witcosky, also a former trustees president, served as moderator.

We thank the physicians and former presidents for their contributions to this event!
