Expert Cardiac Practice Joins Providence Medical Group

June 30, 2011

A group of 15 cardiologists, three nurse practitioners and 53 other employees at The Oregon Clinic have joined Providence Medical Group, forming Providence Heart Clinic at The Oregon Clinic Gateway. This new clinic will bring together an excellent heart team with one of Oregon’s leading providers of cardiac services and health care.

“We are very excited about this new opportunity,” said Joe Siemienczuk, M.D., chief executive, Providence Medical Group. “It will increase our ability to bring cutting-edge medicine to the communities we serve.”

“This new relationship allows us to continue our commitment of providing the highest level of care in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease,” said Steve Reinhart, M.D., medical director, Providence Heart Clinic at The Oregon Clinic Gateway.

The main office for the cardiology practice will remain at The Oregon Clinic’s Gateway Medical Office, with satellite office locations in Gresham, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center and Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.

“This helps us move toward our goal of providing the best possible patient care experience, provides a seamless transition between providers, streamlines communication about procedures and test results, and improves the transition between inpatient and outpatient locations,” added Dr. Siemienczuk.
