Patient back on bike after brain surgery
April 12, 2011
A patient experiencing headaches was surprised to find out he needed brain surgery due to a dangerous colloid cyst. Pankaj Gore, M.D., medical director of Providence Cranial Services at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, was able to remove the cyst using an endoscope. The entire procedure took only one hour and only required a small opening compared to traditional open brain surgery. See the full KPTV report.
