PORTLAND, Ore. – Residents of southwest Washington will have easier access to home medical equipment now that Providence Health & Services has opened a service center in Vancouver.
Providence Home Medical Equipment offers a full line of common and special-order medical products, devices and supplies. Experienced staff members, including a respiratory therapist, are able to help residents select and understand equipment ranging from scooters and lift chairs to oxygen and respiratory therapy supplies. The center also offers mail order diabetes products, including glucometers and compression stockings, and health and wellness supplies.
“Providence is committed to providing excellent, convenient health care services to residents of southwest Washington,” said Tricia Roscoe, chief executive of Providence services in Clark County. “With our Mill Plain medical clinic, the addition of this medical equipment site, and two additional clinics planned for later this year, we continue to work toward our goal of providing comprehensive medical care in the communities we serve.”
Providence Home Medical Equipment provides home delivery on all purchases. The center works with nearly all major health insurance providers. Providence Home Medical Equipment is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays, at 7723 NE Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The phone number is 360-816-7373. Providence also operates four home medical equipment sites in Oregon.
