Holiday Time!: So Now What?

Plan ahead to help prevent the holiday pitfalls of boredom from extended unstructured time, annoyance and chaos! Please join us at this free speaker event as we learn how to use the basics principles of behaviors and sensory integration in the everyday schedule of holiday activities.

Cara Lee, M.Sc., OTR/L and Karen Nagao, MOT, OTR/L will share their thoughts and expertise and provide therapeutic options for things to do during the holiday break. Topics will include:

  • Behavior challenges in a less structured environment
  • Creating holiday routine
  • Everyday quick and easy sensory ideas

Cara Lee, M.Sc., OTR/L, Clinical Supervisor at Providence Children's Development Institute, has more than 10 years of clinical experience providing occupational therapy to children with developmental challenges. Karen Nagao, MOT, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist at PNCC has 15 years of clinical experience in sensory, aquatics, cranial-sacral therapy, and therapeutic listening for children with developmental challenges.
