Mari Martinen, MS, is an autism consultant in southern Oregon. In addition, Mari has used her special education and administrative education background as a STEPS classroom teacher serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade and assisted in setting up STAR classrooms throughout southern Oregon.
At this introductory workshop, Mary will provide parents:
- A better understanding of the unique aspects of autism that impact an individual's ability to regulate their emotions and behavioral responses
- Examples and simple strategies that can help address the behavioral responses and needs of individuals on the autism spectrum
