Women with Heart is a support group that provides education and peer to peer support for women living with heart disease. Meetings feature informative guest speakers and topics designed to help women pursue and achieve a heart-healthy lifestyle. There is time set aside for supporting, encouraging and sharing with one another. The group addresses specific concerns of women living with heart disease and provide supports and encouragement as they deal with issues unique to them.
This course is designed by the American Heart Association for training health care providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a person, whether in or out of the hospital. It focuses on skills and knowledge for the early treatment of emergent cardiopulmonary events.
