Your mother? Wife? Friend? Yourself?

Join Team Providence. Walk with us. Help us FINISHCANCER

2016 Race for the Cure Celebrating 25 years!

Sunday, Sept. 18

Why is this event important?
Imagine a world without breast cancer. You can help make that a reality. The Race for the Cure raises funds for the local Susan G. Komen Foundation, which supports early detection of breast cancer, its treatment and ongoing research.

Who benefits?
Our thanks to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for providing women in our community access to the care and resources related to breast health and breast cancer. Komen funds up to 8,000 mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in Oregon annually.

Who can join Team Providence?
Anyone: Runners, walkers, friends and family. All ages are welcome.

When and where is the event?
Sunday, Sept. 18 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland. Events begin at 7 a.m. Share the ride by taking the bus, MAX or carpooling.

Look for Providence at Waterfront Park.

Stop by the Providence booth where we encourage you to write a message in honor of a loved one and pin it to our Honor Wall. Have a smartphone? Snap a "selfie" portrait with your phone and post it to Instagram and/or Twitter, using the hashtag:#FINISHCANCER.
