"Light the Night" with Providence Cancer Center

“Light The Night” with Providence Cancer Center as we join the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Saturday, Oct. 8th to support the fight against blood cancers. Illuminated balloons, fireworks, music and entertainment are all in store when you join us on this special night.

Show your support.  Walk with us. 

Register and join our Providence Cancer Center team today. All are welcome. Registration is free but we encourage our team members to raise a minimum of $25 per person to support this important and worthy cause. Your participation in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night walk funds therapies and treatment advances for blood cancer patients. Walkers can raise funds and walk as an individual or on a team with friends, family and co-workers.

Event Schedule:
5:00 p.m.: Registration Opens; Food & Festivities Begin 6:00 p.m.: Remembrance Ceremony 6:45 p.m.: Lantern Lighting Ceremony 7:00 p.m.: Walk Start Champions for Cures Reminder: Walkers who individually raise $100 or more will be given a wristband with advocacy website on walk night, and vouchers redeemable for a t-shirt, illuminated lantern, and dinner. All patients and survivors receive these benefits regardless of fundraising level.

Quick facts about Walk night:
  • Strollers, Wheelchairs, & Wagons: All are welcome and will be passable on the walk course.
  • Dogs: The Oregon Convention Center only permits service animals.
