Continuing medical education
Providence's Department of Continuing Medical Education provides physicians in our geographical region stimulating educational programs – lectures, small group workshops, debates, simulation and other types of activities – which are balanced, objective, evidence-based and possess scientific integrity.
Each CME activity should improve attendees’ knowledge and stimulate physician-attendees to pursue self-directed learning specific to their practices. Our CME program emphasizes the needs of primary care providers and ultimately should lead to improved patient outcomes.
