PPMC patient dining goes from room service to scheduled meals
On March 5 Providence Portland Medical Center changed from traditional room service to a scheduled meal program. The change streamlines the meal-ordering process, making the program more efficient.
As part of the new program, patient dining ambassadors will go to the patient rooms and take the meal orders in person rather than having the patients call in their orders. This personal approach improves communication and helps us ensure that patients receive the food they want and that their meals are within their diet order. Our made-to-order menu will remain the same.
