Welcome to the Gynecologic Oncology Program at Providence Cancer Center, led by medical director Paul Tseng, M.D., of Compass Oncology.
Women diagnosed with cancers of the reproductive tract, including the ovaries, uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva, or with primary peritoneal or other rare gynecologic cancers can face complicated conditions. Whether these cancers are pre-invasive (benign and in-situ) or invasive (malignant), our team provides the most up-to-date evidence-based treatments in a compassionate, organized manner.
We offer a wide range of services, from prevention and early detection to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. Our physicians work closely with radiation oncologists, genetic-risk experts, oncology social workers, integrative medicine experts, the cancer survivor program team and the clinical trials staff. Together these professionals give patients personalized, multidisciplinary cancer care in the safest, most efficient way.
Dr. Tseng and his team offer specialized procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery; laparotomy (open) surgery, including radical debulking surgery that involves pelvic organs, colon, ureters or bladder; and extensive reconstructive surgery as needed. We also provide chmotherapy, in-office colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and access to clinical trials.
