Fallopian tube carcinoma

Primary fallopian tube carcinoma is a rare tumor that arises from fallopian tube and share histologic and clinical resemblance to epithelial ovarian cancer. Some suggested germ-line BRCA-1 and BRCA-2 mutations may be a potential etiology. Staging, treatment and prognosis of primary fallopian tube carcinoma is similar to epithelial ovarian cancer.
